Let Hugs and Kisses remind you of Janet's Love

I was so pleased and grateful to see the individuals who were able to attend mom's celebration. While West Brattleboro was the right place to hold this event- It's cumbersome "to get there from here"... wherever your here is. Received more correspondence when I got back to Maine. Will post that and some of the prior letters @ a later time. As I said to some of my sibs, be happy and well! :0) Lisa

This weekend

Sunny days in Hanover and Brattleboro--Children, neices, nephews, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins. Dinners, a memorial service, and then fireworks. Now I remember how good life is.

Thank you

Thank you to everyone who's attempted to use this memorial blog, and to Mary and Cynthia who sent beautiful notes to be read at the service. Please accept my apologies for any problems in using this forum.  It should be easier to comment now and if you would like to be added as an author, please email me (malsin@valley.net.)  I've just invited a few authors from among the family and would like to add more.

Wellfleet Memory

Peter and I are spending two days at the Cape celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. Our first time here we rented a cottage in Falmouth for a week in September and came with Jared who was 8 months old. Mom came to stay with us and we drove up to see Aunt Betty and John. Aunt Betty and Mom suggested we leave Jared with them and go to the beach by ourselves, which we happily did. In following years we came many times to Wellfleet, bringing Mikaela too after she was born.

Mom loved the ocean and particularly Point O' Woods beach in Connecticut, from her childhood years.
